April 17th 2009: Ilaria Manno earned her PhD in Computer Science, defending a Thesis on her work on CoFFEE! Congratulations Ilaria! Well done!

April 3rd 2009: nVidia donated a GTX285 graphics card to our lab... It is already under heavy testing for the GPGPU applications! Thanks nVidia!

April 3rd 2009: Biagio Cosenza, PhD student of ISISLab, was awarded with HPC-Europa grant for visiting High Performance Computing Center Stuttgart (HLRS) of the University of Stuttgart. Congratulations!

March 25th-27th 2009: ISISLab presents its research in Serious Games and Virtual Reality at Exporienta 2009.

January 14th 2009: IBM's press release - "IBM Jazz Innovation Award: un prestigioso premio internazionale all’Università di Salerno", Milano. See the press release here

November 20th 2008: Another impressive news for the ISISLab: We won the IBM International Jazz Award 2008 for the proposal to integrate CoFFEE tools into Jazz (see the IBM announce and the announcement at IBM University Italian website (in italian)) and some more press (of Jan.15th 2009) at www.informazione.it, www.fullpress.it, www.irpinianews.it, SalernoInPrima, the article on the "la Città" (in italian). We are also on SlashDot.

November 18th 2008: Great! Another prize for our lab... Ilaria Manno presented CoFFEE at the 3rd Italian Workshop on Eclipse Technologies (Eclipse IT) and won the price for the best student demo in Educational track! (see the picture)

October 14th 2008: The project Lead and the software CoFFEE receives the Premio Aldo Fabris per la formazione (promoters: Formez, Tecnopolis CSATA, Formed, Regione Puglia and others). The prize was delivered at the Meeting 2008 Anno europeo del dialogo interculturale: una sfida per la formazione (see the prize and the info on the Premio Fabris for 2008 website, with a movie and motivations).

June 4th 2008: A small but interesting research project "Campus Virtuale" (in italian) has been approved to the ISISLab by the Università di Salerno. More news will come.. See in the Research projects page.

May 29th 2008: two new papers accepted to the ISISLab members at the ECTEL 2008 conference! Congratulations Furio, Ilaria, Rosario and Vittorio!

May 16th 2008: Alessandra Sala successfully defended her PhD Thesis! Congratulations to Alessandra from the ISISLab.. and good luck at UCSB!
