Troubleshooting

1. Java applet (bottom part of the HTML page) is not visible
   • First, check Java console. To activate it:
     • Active Java Console
       Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced In Microsoft VM, click "Java Console enabled "
     • Visualize Java Console
       View -> Java Console
   • Error Messages present in Java Console:
     "com.ms.security.SecurityExcpetionEx[host]....."
     
   Solution:
   
   • Setting security options in Internet Explorer:
     
     • Tools -> Internet options -> Security
     • Select a Web content zone : Internet
     • To change the setting, click Custom Level
     In Microsoft VM, select Custom for Java Permissions
     • Click Java custom Settings
     • Select as sets of permissions: Permissions Enabled for Unsigned Content
2. Problems with Cosmo Player
   • Test, first, if it works with a plain VRML file such as try prova.wrl
